Today we continued our work on Lesson 3.10 from the textbook. We covered differentials and introduced using differentials to estimate the change in a function. For our assignment, we added on **#19-28, 40-43**.

In 2015, the AP tests will given from May 4 to May 15, with the calculus exam on Wednesday, May 6. Our AP Calculus class prepares students for at least the AB Curriculum as oulined in the College Board's course description. Please use the links below to access other available resources.

### Other Class News and Info

The Michigan Math Prize Competition test will be held on October 7, 2015. Please visit the MMPC website for betails. Those interested should sign up with Mr. Murphy ASAP. Approximately $20,000 in scholarships will be awarded through the competition this year.

Math Field Day 2014 was be held Friday, March 7, 2014 at U of M Flint. Information is avaliable at their website, including results and past problems. Stay tuned for information on the 2015 Field Day.
