Today we continued to add to the order of operations, this time looking at other grouping symbols (radical, absolute value, and fraction bar). Students were assigned to add on #14-19, 42-49, 54. from p. 43. We also completed Quiz #2 on Schoology.

The Michigan Math Prize Competition test will be held on October 7, 2015. Please visit the MMPC website for betails. Those interested should sign up with Mr. Murphy ASAP. Approximately $20,000 in scholarships will be awarded through the competition this year.

Math Field Day 2014 was be held Friday, March 7, 2014 at U of M Flint. Information is avaliable at their website, including results and past problems. Stay tuned for information on the 2015 Field Day.
