Solids of Revolution – The Disk Method

So far we have been using geometry to find the areas of our cross sections.  Today we will exam solid created when you revolve a region about an axis of revolution.  We’ll start by using the x-axis and y-axis as the axis of revolution, and then move it around to other horizontal and vertical lines.  Since I’m out today, please view these videos to get a start on the technique.
